I first met Caroline and Martin when we spent an hour at Avenham Park in Preston for a pre-wedding engagement photoshoot so I already knew that they were a really fun couple and their wedding was going to be amazing.
MITTON HALL WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
Mitton Hall is one of my favourite wedding venues so when I found out that was the venue for their wedding I was instantly excited for their wedding. Mitton Hall, which is part of the James’ Places group of wedding venues, is a fabulous country manor house in the heart of the Ribble Valley with ancient architectural features and a unique ambience with its roaring fires and oak panelled rooms. Its fantastic interior and the beautiful gardens at the rear make it one of the best wedding venues in the North West.
THE WEDDING PREPARATIONS
I started the day at Martin’s home where he was getting ready with his best man before I made my way to Mitton Hall where Caroline spent the morning preparing for her wedding in one of the intimate oak panelled rooms of Mitton Hall with her bridesmaids having their hair and make-up done before she was ready to get in to her wedding dress.
WEDDING CEREMONY IN THE NEW CONSERVATORY
Caroline looked absolutely stunning as she walked down the aisle in to Mitton Hall’s new conservatory to meet a very proud looking Martin for their civil ceremony. After exchanging their vows and wedding rings the bride and groom had their first kiss as man and wife before making their way back outside to be greeted by their family and friends and the first photos as newlyweds.
BACK IN TO THE PARTY ROOM
After some exquisite food being served to the wedding party for the wedding breakfast and 3 hilarious and emotional speeches the guests partied the night away on the dancefloor until the early hours.
