As an official Ferraris Country House recommended wedding photographer it’s always a pleasure to go back there. Set in the little village of Thornley in the heart of rural Lancashire and views of the stunning Ribble Valley, this family run establishment offers a really warm welcome to everyone. With the ceremony room overlooking the beautiful gardens with its stunning Dove Cote and the Koi Carp fish pond it’s the perfect wedding venue.
The Bride’s Preparations
Jessica spent the morning getting ready with her bridesmaids and her mum in one of the bridal suites at Ferraris getting her hair and make-up done before Jessica was ready to get in to her wedding dress. With the glasses of Prosecco flowing and the music playing the girls were already having a great time and when Jessica’s son Jake turned up looking very smart in his little blue suit and matching Adidas trainers, Jessica’s smile couldn’t have been any bigger.
Civil Wedding Ceremony at Ferraris Country House
As Jessica was led down the aisle by her father she was full of smiles at the sight of Craig waiting for her at the front. The short civil ceremony was romantic and emotional and brought tears to the eyes of a couple of the bridesmaids before the new bride and groom made their way out in to the gardens for a drinks reception.
Autumn themed wedding with pumpkins
The grounds of Ferraris were full of autumn colours on the trees which were glowing in the bright sunshine which was perfect for a quick natural portrait session with the newlyweds. The guests then took their seats for the wedding reception in a beautifully decorated room with pumpkins, pinecones and autumn leaves which showed off all the hard work Jessica had put in to give her wedding the perfect personal touch. Before the wedding breakfast the guests were well entertained by the hilarious speeches from Craig, Jessica’s father and her sister Donna.
